Gedd-Stock took place on Sunday August 12th 2007.
The sun shone on an excellent afternoon's entertainment and it's hoped that it will have raised even more funds for good causes than Gedd-Stock 2005.

If the technology can be beaten into submission, we will try to bring you some video clips and maybe even a DVD of the event. Keep an eye on this site for news of when the Gedd-Stock Presentation Night will happen - this is when the funds are handed over to the charities and we all get to have another knees-up!

The very first Gedd-Stock took place in July 2001. Since then it has been
a biennial event taking place in the car park and garden area of the White Hart pub in West Street, Geddington, hence the deadly pun ‘From The Hart’.
Gedd-Stock 2007 was our fourth musical event to raise funds for local charities and fund raising organisations and each year it has grown in respect of support and quality entertainment. Since Gedd-Stock began, we have raised nearly £11000, the proceeds going to these needy local causes:
- The Cransley Hospice
- Lakelands Hospice, Corby
- The Special Baby Care Unit, Kettering General Hospital
- The Breast Care Unit, Kettering General Hospital
- The Down’s Syndrome Association, Northampton Branch

In the weeks leading up to the big day we approach local businesses and individuals for sponsorship and support in the way of money or a prize for our raffle. This has been very successful in giving a good start to our fund raising day, when stalls, a Barbecue, a bar, a raffle and further collections help swell the coffers.
The Gedd-Stock event takes two days to prepare and boasts a large stage supplied by a local scaffolding company, a 11000 watt p.a. system supplied by a local musician, and most importantly, many local bands! All musicians and helpers provide their services free of charge; posters and T shirts are printed and advertising is provided by local companies, again free of charge, a truly generous gesture.
Funds raised this year will be donated to:
- The Cransley Hospice
- The Special Baby Care Unit at Kettering General Hospital
- The Alzheimer’s Society, Kettering and Corby.
